At La Ferme de Croas Men we make our own cider and apple juice.

The Cider

In October and November we gather all our different varieties of apples.

We store them until they have finished ripening.

We start pressing them at the end of November.

The apples are sorted and crushed.

The juice is collected and stored in tanks for between 3 and 5 months.

The future cider then passes through different fermentation stages in which it is decantered and filtered.

We bottle the cider between March and April

 The Apple Juice

We gather the apples for juicing- we use different varieties for apple juice than for the cider.

We pasteurise them by heating them to a high temperature to prevent fermentation.

The hot juice is bottled and laid down to pasteurise

Our apple juice contains no alcohol. Neither sugar nor water is added- it is 100% pure apple juice.
